Kérastase makes some of the best salon hair care in the world, but with fifteen ranges it can be hard to know where to start. In the salon, we never pick a range by name. We start with what your hair needs most. Here's the same approach, so you can choose with confidence at home.
Stylist tip
Most hair has more than one thing going on. Pick your number one concern first, then build around it.
Find your range
Blonde or lightened hair
Blond Absolu
Keeps brassiness in check and cares for lightened hair. Use the purple Ultra Violet shampoo once or twice a week, alternating with Bain Lumière.
Coloured hair
Chroma Absolu
Helps protect your colour between salon visits, so it stays vibrant for longer.
Dry hair
Nutritive
Softness and nourishment for dry hair. Choose the Riche versions if your hair is thick or very dry.
Damaged hair
Première
Designed to repair hair weakened by colour, heat and styling. A great choice after a big colour change.
Hair that sheds or breaks
Genesis
For weakened hair prone to falling out from breakage. Genesis Homme is the men's version.
Thinning or fine hair
Densifique
Helps hair that has lost density look and feel fuller.
Curls and coils
Curl Manifesto
Hydrates and defines curly and coily hair without weighing it down.
Oily or sensitive scalp, dandruff
Spécifique and Symbiose
Spécifique balances an oily or sensitive scalp. Symbiose is the range for flakes and dandruff.
Ageing hair
Chronologiste
Kérastase's most luxurious range, made to revitalise hair and scalp.
Build your routine
- Shampoo (bain) to cleanse for your concern
- Conditioner (fondant) or mask to treat
- Leave-in or heat protector to finish
You can mix ranges. For example, Blond Absolu shampoo with a Nutritive mask works well for blonde hair that's also dry.
